My passion for flying developed when I was growing up in rural Minnesota, watching agricultural pilots swooping over and under power lines while spraying farm crops.  I was mesmerized at how the pilots could maneuver the planes into some very tight corners yet be able turn on a dime.

While in high school, I decided I wanted to learn more about aviation.  I found the only airplane within 45 miles was a very tired looking 1966 Piper Cherokee 140 (PA-28-140)… And so the flying lessons began… in N7515R…
